ABOUT TOM WEST|
Tom West is a singer-songwriter performing music that traverses the undulating ground between simple, whimsical folk tunes and grand and moody soundscapes. West delivers shows where his purposeful songwriting, unforgettable voice and intricate, often fingerpicked, guitar style come to the fore. Equally capable of stunning crowds whether performing as a soloist or accompanied the Australian songwriter will kick off 2019 with shows in the USA, Canada, Australia and the UK as part of his "Hummingbird Tour."
ABOUT LAUREN DILLEN|
Lauren Dillen is a vocalist/guitarist/lyricist blending the sounds of folk with the harmonic and rhythmic complexities of jazz. Inspired by artists like Joni Mitchell, Adrianne Lenker, and Justin Vernon, Lauren writes with honest lyricism and creates tension and release in her soft-electric sound.
ABOUT PAPER BEAT SCISSORS|
Paper Beat Scissors is the project of Montreal's British import Tim Crabtree. Having traded the gloomy industrial north west of England for the gloomy shores of Nova Scotia there's an undeniable melancholia and searching quality to his songs, all hingeing on a voice that's been described as "ethereal" (NOW, Toronto), "[never failing] to cut through and take hold" (CBC). 10 years in, and following a move to Montreal, there are no signs of slowing, with an EP and live, orchestrally-accompanied album released in the last two years and more European tours than you can shake a stick at, including a headlining slot in Munich's Olympic Park in 2017. 2019 will see the release of a new album featuring the cream of the Canadian music scene including Pietro Amato (Land of Talk) and Mike Feuerstack (the Luyas/Bell Orchestre) mixed by Dean Nelson (Beck) and Sandro Perri to be released on Forward Music Group (Canada) and SeaYou (Europe). PBS has toured Canada and Europe, sharing the stage with the likes of Mark Kozelek (Sun Kil Moon/Red House Painters), Owen Pallett, Tanya Tagaq, Great Lake Swimmers and Dan Mangan.
